Lash & Eye Anatomy, Hygiene and Client Safety
A safety-first understanding of the eyelid, natural lashes, potential irritation and infection risks, client screening and responsible referral.
What you will learn.
This subject is designed for beginners and working beauty professionals. The outline below is the planned course structure; written manuals and assessments are still being prepared and reviewed.
Learning outcomes

Eyelid anatomy, lid margin, conjunctiva, cornea, tear film and why the eye is vulnerable to injury.
- Natural lash structure and growth
Follicle, shaft, lash growth and shedding; variation between clients and implications for extensions.
- Infection prevention
Hand hygiene, clean and contaminated zones, single-use consumables and manufacturer-validated disinfection.

- Adhesive and product safety
Read labels and safety data; ventilation, storage and exposure-prevention principles.
- Incident planning and documentation
Client records, incident escalation, aftercare information and clear scope-of-practice boundaries.
Workbook and design exercises
- Label a professionally reviewed eye-area anatomy diagram.
- Create a clean/dirty workflow audit for a treatment station.
