Completing a course does not grant a tattooing or permanent makeup licence, professional accreditation, or legal permission to practise in any country or jurisdiction. Rules vary by country, state, province and local authority. Before working on clients, you must independently confirm and satisfy the applicable laws, training, health-and-safety, registration and insurance requirements where you intend to work. Any Academy Certificate of Completion is proof of finishing a specified course only, not permission to tattoo or evidence of practical competence.

It depends on the subject. Tattoo Pricing & Business begins with basic cost and quotation concepts and is suitable for beginners and established artists. More advanced design and PMU subjects may assume prior knowledge; each course page will state the prerequisites before enrolment.

There is no single machine or needle suitable for everyone. Appropriate equipment depends on the task, hygiene requirements, verified manufacturer instructions and supervised practical training. Equipment references in theory resources are educational, not personalised recommendations or endorsements.

The exact access period and download permissions will be clearly stated on each course page before checkout goes live. We are not advertising lifetime access until those arrangements are confirmed.

Account, payment and download issues can be raised through our Contact page when enrolment opens. One-to-one tattoo mentoring, live feedback or practical supervision are not included unless an individual course expressly says so.

Yes, the design-theory subjects are planned for artists who want to strengthen their understanding of line weight, readable composition and planning. They do not assess or teach supervised skin procedures and do not certify practical competence.

No. These are online written learning materials, worksheets and design or business exercises. They do not include in-person supervised tattooing or PMU procedures on clients or real skin.

The current academy format uses written manuals, illustrated theory, worksheets, templates and quizzes. A course page will always specify the included materials and any videos before purchase.

We are considering bundle discounts of 10% for two subjects, 15% for three, and 20% for four or more. The bundle preview illustrates these proposed savings; prices, discounts and course availability are not yet final. No payments can be made through this preview.

We plan to issue a separate The Fine Line Academy Certificate of Completion for each eligible subject after the student completes its required learning activities and quizzes. Each certificate will identify the course completed. These are private educational completion certificates, not accredited qualifications, professional licences, or proof of supervised practical competence. Automated issuing is not yet active.

Course manuals and other protected materials are intended for the named student and must not be redistributed or resold. Some editable business templates may allow defined business use. Read the course licence for the precise terms.

Digital learning purchases will be subject to our published refund policy and applicable South African consumer law. Statutory cancellation, non-delivery and defective-content remedies are not excluded by a general “no refunds” statement.

The Fine Line Academy is the public-facing education brand. The legal contracting seller and support details must be completed on the Seller Information page before any real purchase is accepted.

No. The Fine Line Academy is an independent education brand and is not sponsored or endorsed by Meta, Facebook or Instagram. Mention of any third-party platform or payment provider does not imply that it endorses our courses.

The bundle builder previews combined Tattoo and PMU selections: two subjects are 10% off, three are 15% off, and four or more are 20% off. These are proposed discounts only; prices and live offers will be confirmed before checkout opens.

For each eligible released theory subject, you must have an active enrolment, complete the required learning modules, and achieve at least 80% on the Academy assessment. Each subject earns its own certificate. The first completion workflow is prepared for Tattoo Pricing & Business; additional subjects will be activated when their full learning materials and assessments are ready.

No. This is a private course completion record for online theory education. It is not an accredited qualification, practice licence, permit, apprenticeship, or proof of supervised hands-on competence in any country.

Issued certificates have a unique verification code. When certificate issuing is enabled for enrolled students, recipients will be able to share a verification link with the Academy. This confirms the theory course completed, not permission to work on clients.
